2025 MYT1L Project Family-Researcher Meeting
St. Louis, Missouri - October 3, 4 and 5, 2025
Event Recap
We were honored to bring together 54 parents and children, 9 scientists in person, 3 scientific advisors virtually, and 40 additional Zoom participants for two days of collaboration and community.

Together, we:
🔬 Heard updates on the latest MYT1L research and the status of ASO therapy development
💊 Explored drug repurposing opportunities that could benefit our MYT1L community
🫶 Built lasting friendships and strengthened the bonds between families, scientists, and advocates
Every conversation, every presentation, and every hug reminded us why we do this — to move closer to effective therapies and a brighter future for all MYT1L Heroes. 💫
Thank you to all who traveled, tuned in, presented, and shared their stories. Your dedication fuels progress and gives us hope every single day. 💙
Big thanks to WashU for accommodating us and for an ongoing partnership. ❤️ We are already looking forward to 2026!
Sponsored by The MYT1L Project, this meeting supported the MYT1L community by bringing together families and researchers to meet, discuss common goals, learn about the latest research developments, and contribute to future research.
